What's the difference between the world of art and any other commercial venture? For many artists fresh from art school where quite understandably the emphasis is on developing and refining talent, the world appears to be a place driven by originality, emotion and vision.

Business continuity in art is probably something you have never thought about. You focus and passion is developing your skill and you art. Have you ever thought though about how vulnerable you are? Art like many creative careers is a field where income can be irregular, collections are vulnerable, and reputations are built over years, continuity planning protects both creativity and commercial survival.

Originally part of the Art-Club web site and following feedback from our members we realised there was too much content so we've gone back to basics and made Art Critique Club more simple. It's now a free virtual art community of like minded people and creators.

"Organic Moods" Commentary We have already had several comments about Organic Moods by Gregory. It's fizzy drink approach makes this abstract different. It has geological or atmospheric drift: warm ochres and browns cascade downward like mineral deposits, resin, or weathered sediment. while the pale veining creates a sense of erosion and slow organic movement. The result is tactile and alive, with the surface patterning giving it both a cellular and a landscape-like character

When we first received this submission we were blown away by the emotion it created. The discussion amongst the group as to its meaning and message "War" was fascinating so we have quite deliberately added little to the commentary as we are keen to receive your thoughts and comments which we will pass back to the artist.
